E.max crowns and veneers
IPS e.max lithium disilicate crowns, veneers, inlays and onlays for natural-looking restorations in the smile zone.

What it is
E.max is lithium disilicate, a glass-ceramic with translucency close to natural enamel. Restorations are pressed or milled, then stained and glazed or layered, and finished by hand.
When to choose it
- Anterior crowns where shade matching and translucency matter most
- Veneers, including thin veneers
- Premolar crowns
- Inlays and onlays
Things to consider
E.max is strong for single units but is not usually chosen for long-span posterior bridges, where zirconia is stronger. Bonded e.max restorations need good moisture control at the fit appointment.
What to send us
- A scan or impression
- The shade, the stump shade of prepared teeth, and photos
- A smile design or mock-up for veneer cases
- The preparation type on the RX form
Frequently asked questions
Are E.max veneers suitable for discoloured teeth?
Often, depending on how dark the underlying tooth is. Send a stump shade and photos so the technician can plan the right material opacity.
Can E.max be used for bridges?
E.max can be used for short anterior bridges in suitable cases, but zirconia is usually preferred for longer or posterior bridges.
